Common questions
What counts as a photo restore?
Each cloud repair run counts as one photo restore. Most photos need one careful pass. If the result needs more work, you can run another pass for one more restore.
Is Reimagine the same as restoration?
No. Restore tries to repair what is already in the photo. Reimagine is an opt-in creative reconstruction for cases where faithful repair is not enough. Reimagined results are labeled because some details may be inferred.
How much does each restoration actually cost?
Every account gets a free monthly allowance before any payment. Beyond that there are two ways to pay: a Family subscription gives the whole household a bigger steady monthly allowance for an ongoing collection, and never-expire credit packs let you pay once and restore at your own pace. They never run out.
What is included in the free plan?
You get 10 free restores every month, and you start with 30 never-expire welcome credits on top (no credit card), plus 5 caption and story actions per day. Free also includes one shared Family Vault for up to 5 members and 50 photos. Photo Insight, search, cross-device sync, your private Archive, and local editing tools stay available on every plan. Need more in a big month? Top up with never-expire credit packs or go Family.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.
How do I manage my subscription?
Web subscriptions are managed through Paddle, our payment provider. You can update your payment method, switch plans, or cancel from your account settings. Mobile subscriptions are managed through your device's App Store or Google Play settings.
What does Family add over Free?
Free already includes 10 restores a month and one shared Family Vault for up to 5 members and 50 photos. Family lifts the caps: 40 restores a month for the household, unlimited vaults with up to 10 members each, 50 GB of storage, unlimited caption and story help, and 4 animations a month. Never-expire credit packs add restores on top whenever you want them, without a subscription. Free still includes Photo Insight, Your Inbox, Archive, search, and basic sharing.
Can I earn free restores?
Yes. Every account gets a referral code from the You tab. When a friend signs up and their first restoration lands, both of you earn extra never-expire photo restores, with no cap on how many friends you can invite.
Restore one photo free. Grow the archive from there.
Start free in your browser, or get the iPhone app to scan prints on the go. Your archive stays in sync across both.
